Hiring Immediately! - Business Development Manager

 

The Business Development Manager performs external marketing and business development for assigned community(s).  The Business Development Manager develops local professional referral sources and generates qualified leads for assigned community(s). This role collaborates with Director of Sales and Marketing and Executive Director.

Responsibilities

  • Sell and position products within assigned area. Develop relationships with community at large to promote service offerings. Create and implement sales and outreach plan to cultivate relationships, represent positive community image, and generate sales leads and referrals.
  • Plan marketing events for community's target population to promote community services and acquire sales leads converting to move-in’s. Measure effectiveness of programs to provide direction for future events.
  • Partner with DSM in developing marketing plans and budgets by providing competitor information. Execute sales plans to meet budget and objectives.
  • Coordinate competitive analysis, keep current on competitive projects/programs in the marketplace, and make pricing/toolbox recommendations.
  • Set example for company standards for excellence. Serve as consensus builder among community Sales and Operations teams.
  • Foster teamwork with co-workers, overcome obstacles, assist others beyond job responsibilities, and positively impact co-workers, residents, and visitors.
  • Oversee business development coordination between communities to provide optimum results without duplication of resources.
  • Supports in house sales as needed or assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field is preferred.
  • One to two years’ experience in marketing/sales.
  • Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing to include principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services to include marketing strategy and tactics, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Consultative selling skills highly preferred.
