The Mission of Elegance Living is to create an elegant experience in which everyone can be distinctive and live fully.

The Senior Vice President of Operations oversees the operations and reporting functions of Elegance Living and the communities it owns and manages.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations for Elegance Living Support Center and Communities.
  • Foster positive, professional and high-performing workplace.
  • Lead development of strategic and work plans.
  • Provide progress, strategy change, financial, and performance target reports.
  • Manage sustainable and successful strategy for growing revenue.
  • Listen to team members, residents, families, etc. to improve services and foster community engagement.
  • Collaborate with senior management to deliver quality programming and develop policies, programs and processes to generate optimal outcomes, exemplary customer experience, and organizational sustainability.
  • Manage resources judiciously for financial viability, sustainability and growth of the organization.
  • Build and maintain high levels of stewardship, transparency and accountability.
  • Maintain ongoing compliance with law, regulation, funder requirements and best practice.
  • Ensure organization meets or exceeds annual performance targets.
  • Identify and implement new programming as appropriate.
  • Develop and execute resource development strategies to position the organization to thrive and grow.
  • Works with finance staff and executive team to maintain and improve financial accountability, resulting in clean audits and compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years in a senior strategic leadership position required including experience leading a high performing team.
  • Significant fiscal management experience a must.
  • Knowledge and skills in financial management, program design, implementation and evaluation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to be understood by range of audiences.
  • High level of intellectual curiosity and desire to explore innovative approaches.
  • Competency in the use of computers and relevant technology including but not limited to, internet, email and databases, and software such as Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or field related to the position.
  • Must have proven experience in a Chief Operations Officer or equivalent role of at least five years.
  • Must have proven managerial experience of at least five years.
