Symphony at Centerville is the new standard of excellence in memory care for those who are experiencing memory loss.

We describe what we offer as Memory Support because we’re intentionally shifting away from outdated Dementia care practices and into a hospitality model. We recognize that each person we are privileged to serve is both unique in their life history, as well as their Dementia journey.  We understand the importance of a scheduled rhythm to each day. However, we also encourage our team members to slow down and embrace the impromptu moments that happen as well.  We find it’s the spontaneous moments have high impact for both the care giver and the care receiver.

Our Memory Support neighborhood is designed to offer residents a rich, full life, surrounded by people who truly care about their well-being.

The Activities Assistant coordinates and leads resident activities for our assisted living, memory support, or independent living community under the Director of Lifestyle and Leisure’s direction.

Full Time- Weekends Required

• Coordinate and lead community programming, activities, events, and entertainment for resident enjoyment.
• Promote programming initiatives within community to encourage participation.
• Organize transportation for outings and medical appointments.
• Determine appropriate resident activity levels and ensure safety.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Social Service, Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum three years’ assisted living or memory care experience preferred.
• Strong communication, personnel, community relations, and computer skills required.
• Commercial Driving License (CDL) preferred.
• Ability to pass a background and drug screens.
