Hiring Immediately - National Director of Curriculum and Training

 

This team member is located at our Baltimore, MD corporate support center.

 

The National Director of Curriculum and Training creates, delivers, and support the development of curriculum for the company. The National Director of Curriculum and Training develops new curriculum, reviews and modifies existing lessons; aligns curriculum to state standards; and creates, selects and reviews formative/summative assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SME) in various departments (i.e. Health & Wellness, Accounting, Human Resources, Operations, etc.) to assess training needs through surveys, employee interviews, focus groups, and consultation with team members.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate training curriculum and materials using various instructional techniques and formats (role-play, simulation, team exercise, one-on-one/group discussion, video, letcure, etc.).
  • Manage Relias training platform for all communities.
  • Oversee Elegance Academy quarterly trainings and annual conferences.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources Department to ensure community HR policies and objectives are current and compliant.
  • Foster teamwork with co-workers, overcome obstacles, assist others beyond job responsibilities, and positively impacts co-workers, residents and visitors.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and/or Human Resources preferred. Combination of education and experience considered.
  • Minimum five years’ experience facilitating web-based and in person training.
  • Minimum three years’ experience in training program development in a corporate environment, preferably in seniors housing industry.
  • Ability to apply theory to practice and experience directly with instructional design or a similar environment required.
