Now Hiring a Full Time Payroll Specialist!


This position performs all functions having to do with processing payroll for community operations.


  • Audit employee timesheets and essential payroll information prior to processing bi-weekly payroll for select communities.
  • Correct errors, update records, and finally process payrolls per procedures forwarded by the Payroll Director.
  • Enters employee changes pertaining to payroll: rate increases, status changes, new hires, terminations, etc. 
  • Manage all aspects of the garnishment response and pay deduction process.
  • Maintain current knowledge of applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
  • Foster teamwork with co-workers, show initiative in overcoming obstacles, take actions which assists others beyond job responsibilities, and have a positive impact on co-workers, residents, and visitors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred in business or a field related to the position.
  • Must have proven Payroll Processing experience from start to finish of at least two years.
  • Knowledge of state and federal payroll laws and tax filing requirements. Knowledge of garnishment procedures, health insurance and 401k processing guidelines.
  • Effective, professional, and courteous communication with employees, vendors, and visitors in person, in email, and over the telephone.
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently and make decisions. 
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Excel. Ability to learn and operate ADP Time and Attendance/HRIS systems.
