The Activities Assistant coordinates and leads resident activities for our assisted living, memory support, or independent living community under the Director of Lifestyle and Leisure’s direction.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and lead community programming, activities, events, and entertainment for resident enjoyment.
  • Promote programming initiatives within community to encourage participation.
  • Organize transportation for outings and medical appointments.
  • Determine appropriate resident activity levels and ensure safety.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Candidate Profile:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Social Service, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum three years’ assisted living or memory care experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, personnel, community relations, and computer skills required.
  • Commercial Driving License (CDL) preferred.
  • Ability to pass a background and drug screens.
